KDENTON, Texas -- Midwestern State hits the road to face Texas Woman's in the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament quarterfinals Monday night at Pioneer Soccer Park. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Mustangs (9-4-5) closed the season on a three-match winning streak to earn the No. 5 seed in the tournament with a 6-2-3 league record.
ABOUT THE LSC POSTSEASON TOURNAMENT | The LSC Women's Soccer Postseason Tournament features the top seven teams based on conference points per match accumulated during the regular season. Top-seeded Dallas Baptist earned a bye and hosts semifinal and championship rounds. The quarterfinals begin on Monday night with the semifinals following on Friday. The championship match is set for Sunday. The winner of the tournament earns automatic qualification into the NCAA Division II Championships.

MSU IN THE LSC TOURNAMENT | The Mustangs make their 27th appearance in the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament Monday night in Denton. MSU owns a 21-21-5 all-time record in tournament, claiming five championships (1996, 1998, 2011, 2013, 2016). Midwestern State and Texas Woman's meet for just the second time in LSC postseason play with the Pioneers winning 1-0 in the 2018 tournament -- also in Denton.

Lexi Beck leads the Mustangs in scoring with seven goals and six assists. The Fort Worth native scored all seven goals during an eight-match stretch from Sept. 2-Sept. 27 ending with a brace against Eastern New Mexico. Her seven goals remain tied for fifth in the Lone Star Conference. Her six assists are the third most in the league.

Isabella Cruz ranks second on the squad with five goals, including a brace at UT Permian Basin.
- Senior
Cassidy Savoy has been the hottest Mustang down the stretch. She scored in three consecutive matches versus Dallas Baptist (10/21), West Texas A&M (10/28), and Lubbock Christian (10/31) to raise her season totals to four goals and three assists. The Fort Worth native is second on the squad with 11 points.
- Senior
Janae Sanchez has accounted for two assists in 14 matches this season, but serves as Mustangs' spark plug often patrolling an entire side of the pitch.

Maya Warrior's first collegiate goal was a game winner in the regular season finale at UT Tyler. The senior from Keller is set to make her 30th consecutive start tonight against Texas Woman's.
