WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Junior midfielder Allessandra Romano and freshman goalkeeper Allison Dellis were named to the 2023 LSC All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship, which Dallas Baptist won with a 4-0 victory over St. Mary's in the final.

Midwestern State eliminated Texas Woman's in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 double-overtime victory at Pioneer Soccer Park in Denton, Texas, and Romano scored both goals for the Mustangs, including the game-winner with eight seconds remaining in the final overtime period.

Dellis made eight saves in the win over the Pioneers and followed that up with an 11-save performance in a 1-0 loss at Dallas Baptist in the semifinals.

Romano, who transferred to MSU from Jacksonville State, finished the season with five goals and two assists.

Dellis appeared in nine games and made eight starts as the Mustangs' goalkeeper. The freshman from Denton Guyer finished the campaign with a 0.74 goals against average and a .893 save percentage. She suffered her only loss of the season in the LSC semifinals and closed out the campaign with a 4-1-3 record.

Midwestern State was 10-5-5 with a 6-3-3 record in conference play and reached the semifinals of the LSC Postseason Tournament for the second straight season.
