Oklahoma Christian took full advantage of its good fortune cashing in for a 2-1 win over the Mustangs.

Darryl Walsh was shown a red card after taking down OC sophomore forward Isaias Silva an opportunity to score in the 23rd minute leading to a successful penalty kick conversion by Joep Claassen.
Midwestern State struck back with a short-handed goal in the 30th minute off the right foot of sophomore
Max Gonzales on an assist from
Rory Doyle.
Silva provided the winning margin with an unassisted goal in the 54th minute.
Midwestern State fell to 6-1-2 on the season, while the Eagles improved to 7-1-2.
The Mustangs hit the road to face Eastern New Mexico Wednesday night in Portales. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. (Central Time).
