WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- The impending winter storm has already led to changes in the coming week's schedule for Midwestern State Athletics.
 
Here are the affected events:

Women's Golf: RJGA The Cactus Thaw (Sunday, Feb. 14-Monday, Feb. 15)
Midwestern State pulled out of their spring opening at Painted Dunes Golf Course in El Paso. The Mustangs are next in action in the St. Mary's Invitational on March 1-2 at the Dominion Country Club in San Antonio.

Men's/Women's Basketball: Midwestern State vs. Western New Mexico (Monday, Feb. 15)
Midwestern State's slated basketball doubleheader against Western New Mexico is canceled and will not be made up. An attempt for a make-up women's basketball game against Lubbock Christian on Monday has also been abandoned due to weather concerns.

Men's Soccer: Midwestern State at Oklahoma Christian (Tuesday, Feb. 16)
Midwestern State and Oklahoma Christian have agreed to postpone Tuesday's match and reschedule for Saturday, March 6. The match remains in Oklahoma City.
 
Volleyball: Midwestern State vs. Western New Mexico (Wednesday, Feb. 17)
The match originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17 is canceled and will not be made up.

Women's Soccer: Midwestern State at West Texas A&M (Wednesday, Feb. 17)
Midwestern State and West Texas A&M tentatively moved the game back one day to Thursday, Feb. 18 at The Pitch in Canyon before postponing it to a later to be announced date.

Men's/Women's Basketball: Midwestern State at Angelo State (Thursday, Feb. 18)
Midwestern State's scheduled doubleheader Thursday night against Angelo State at the Junell Center in San Angelo is postponed. The rescheduling of the games to be announced soon.
 
Women's Soccer: Midwestern State at Oklahoma Christian (Saturday, Feb. 20)
The match originally slated for Saturday afternoon at Stang Park in Wichita Falls after a home site flip has now been postponed to March 20. The Mustangs will play at Oklahoma Christian on March 17.

Men's Tennis: Midwestern State vs. Tyler JC (Saturday, Feb. 20)
The scrimmage between Midwestern State and Tyler Junior College originally slated for Saturday morning at 8 a.m. has been cancelled. It will not be made up.

Women's Tennis: Midwestern State vs. Tyler JC (Saturday, Feb. 20)
The scrimmage between Midwestern State and Tyler Junior College originally slated for Saturday morning at 8 a.m. has been cancelled. It will not be made up.
