Angel Palacios and won all six singles matches to open the season with a 6-1 win over Collin College (0-1) on Saturday afternoon at the Collin College Tennis Courts.

Westwick/Palacios fell to Adam O'Shannessy/Parker Colin 6-2 and the Cougars clinched the doubles point when Tom Golden/Valentine Rivado defeated

MSU Texas shook off the doubles loss, winning all six singles matches to win the season opener.
Brice Bradshaw evened the match at 1-1 with a straight set win over Colin. And the Mustangs were just getting started.
Crepy collected his first collegiate victory with a 6-0, 6-2 win at flight three singles,
Jean Muniz recorded a straight set win at flight four and Abhi Venkatachalam followed suit with a 7-5, 6-1 win at flight five.
Palacios, ranked fifth to open the spring season, rebounded from a tough doubles match to pull out a hard fought win over O'Shannessy. The senior dropped the first set 6-3, before rattling off 6-3, 6-4 wins.
Alberto Diaz ended the match with a three set victory.
