ALLEN, Texas – Dani Ortiz's win over No. 43 Alex Martinez Roca at the flight two singles sealed a 4-3 victory for the Harding Bisons (3-0) on Saturday afternoon at Allen High School.

"We have some work to do in doubles and need to strengthen each spot in singles," MSU Texas Head Coach Scott Linn said.

After securing the doubles point with a flight one win by the tandem of Morgan Salvan/Alvaro De Lorenzo, the Bisons went to work.

De Lorenzo smashed Jean Muniz in a flight five singles match 6-1, 6-0 before No. 5 Angel Palacios collected the Mustangs' first point of the match with a straight set win at flight one.

The back and forth affair continued when Morgan Salvan upended freshman Alexandre Crepy to push Harding's advantage to 3-1. 

Alberto Diaz posted a straight set win at the number four line to cut into the deficit, but Ortiz collected the decisive win over Martinez Roca to clinch the match for the Bisons.

"Good job by Alberto (Diaz), Abhi (Venkatachalam), and Angel (Palacios) finishing strong in singles," Linn said. 

Abhi Venkatachalam accounted for the Mustangs' final point with a 6-4, 6-4 win on the number six line.
