SERIES HISTORY
MSU Texas owns a 10-4 record against Collin College and has won nine straight meetings. Midwestern State and Harding each own a win in a series that has been dormant since April 27, 2000.

IN THE POLLS
After posting a 20-6 record last season and capturing their second straight Lone Star Conference Postseason title, Midwestern State opens the 2020 season ranked No. 15 in the initial Oracle/ITA Division II team rankings.

SEASON OPENERS
Midwestern State has enjoyed much success in season openers in recent years, posting an 8-2 mark in campaign starters since 2010. Last season, the Mustangs defeated Laredo CC, 4-3.

FAMILIAR FACES
The Mustangs return seven letterwinners from last year's squad that advanced to the national quarterfinals, including Angel Palacios, ranked No. 5 in singles and Alex Martinez Roca, ranked No. 43 in singles.

FRESH FACES
The Maroon and Gold welcome two freshman into the fold in Alexandre Crepy and Brice Bradshaw. Crepy recently arrived on campus after starring in France while Bradshaw competed during the fall season, placing third at the Tyler Invitational.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
Collin College is coming off a 5-11 season and is ranked 8th in the initial Oracle/ITA JUCO team rankings. The Cougars started the season with five straight losses before rattling off wins in three of the next four matches.

The Bisons of Harding University compiled a 13-8 mark last season and collected wins over Lone Star Conference members Dallas Baptist, UT Permian Basin, and Arkansas-Fort Smith.

CATCHING UP WITH COACH LINN
Scott Linn enters his 10th season at the helm of the Midwestern State men's and women's tennis teams. Since arriving in the fall of 2010, Linn has compiled a 315-137 (.697) mark with 15 total NCAA Tournament appearances.
