SERIES HISTORY
The Mustangs have enjoyed much success over the years in the Red River Rivalry, posting a 46-29 record. However, last season's 79-70 win in Wichita Falls broke a seven-game losing streak to the Aggies. MSU has compiled a 7-3 mark over the last 10 games played at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

REYNOLDS REJECTING EVERYTHING
Hannah Reynolds swatted five shots against St. Mary's, making it the fourth time in the junior's career she has recorded at least five blocks in a game. Reynolds currently sits ninth in the Lone Star Conference with 18 blocks (1.5 blocks per game).

KICKING IT WITH KERR
Courtney Kerr scored a season-high eight points and knocked down a pair of three-pointers against St. Mary's on January 11. Kerr shot 3-of-10 from the floor in 20 minutes of action, her most minutes since playing 25 in the season opener.

DIAZ DAZZLES AGAINST ST. MARY'S
Kityana Diaz scored a season-high 13 points in last Saturday's loss to St. Mary's. The junior scored nine of her 13 points in the second half, finishing 4-of-7 from the floor.

PROTECT THE ROCK
Midwestern State is averaging 19.4 turnovers per game after committing 22 in Saturday's loss to St. Mary's. The Mustangs have coughed it up at least 19 times in each of their last three games.

CATCHING UP WITH COACH JOHNSON
Noel Johnson is in her 12th season as the Head Coach of the Midwestern State Women's Basketball team. Last season, Johnson led MSU to a 12-16 (9-11) mark and a sixth place finish in the Lone Star Conference South Division. Overall, the Mustangs have compiled a 156-161 (.492) record under Johnson's guidance. She became the winningest coach in program history on December 19, 2017 when MSU beat Texas A&M-Kingsville 72-66 to land her 133rd career victory.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Maighan Hedge erupted for 30 points to help Cameron to a huge 81-73 win over St. Edward's on Saturday. The sophomore went 9-of-18 from the floor and 10-of-12 from the free throw line as the Aggies won for the second time in three games. Hedge (18.9 PPG, No. 3 in LSC in scoring) and Ava Battese (18.3 PPG, No. 4 in LSC in scoring) combine to form one of the most prolific backcourts in the Lone Star Conference. The senior Battese has hit seven or more three-pointers in a game four times this season, including a single-game record 10 against Angelo State on December 21. Offensively, CU averages 69.5 points per game, the fourth most in the LSC. The Aggies have the league's worst scoring defense, allowing 81.2 PPG.
