Mark Ryal Era Continues
Mark Ryal continues his third season as the head coach of the Maroon and Gold. The former Major Leaguer has led the Mustangs to a 50-66 (.431) record and a pair of ninth place finishes in the LSC. Ryal picked up his 50
th in the Maroon and Gold in the win on March 21 over Texas Woman's.
Last Time Out
The Mustangs were unable to produce at the plate in a three-game sweep at Tarleton State on March 29-30. The TexAnns blanked the Maroon and Gold in the first two games of the series before taking the finale, 6-1.
Home Cooking
MSU boasts an 11-2 record at the friendly confines of Mustangs Park. The Mustangs won two-of-three against Cameron before sweeping Western New Mexico and Northwestern Oklahoma State. Texas Woman's snapped the nine-game winning streak and four-game home shutout streak in the series finale.
The Mustangs hit at a .314 clip at home and average 4.8 runs per game. Midwestern pitching boasts a 1.77 ERA at the friendly confines of Mustangs Park.

th) each rank in the top 10 for career totals.
Muniz became the first MSU pitcher to record 100 strikeouts in a season since Laci Belovsky fanned 148 in 2013.
Hotter Than The Sun
Senior
Carli Woolsey leads the team and ranks seventh in the LSC with 10 dingers on the season. The Enid, Okla., has gone deep in five of the last nine games.
Woolsey's 18 extra base hits this year propelled her into the top 15 with a .494 career slugging percentage. Her 18 career bombs rank as the 14th most in program history.
