MSU Texas tries to extend its seven-game home winning streak against the Pioneers. The Mustangs won two-of-three against Cameron before sweeping Western New Mexico and Northwestern Oklahoma State in the last three home series to improve to 9-1 at Mustangs Park.
The Mustangs are hitting .335 at home with 10 homers and averaging 5.8 runs per game. The biggest improvements have come in the circle. MSU Texas owns a 1.91 ERA at home and is holding opponents to a .143 average with 80 strikeouts.
