Oklahoma Panhandle State (9-12) went on the board in the fifth inning on an RBI double to right center for Madison Heathington for a 2-1 game.

The Mustangs plated seven runs in the final two innings, scoring four runs in the sixth on three OPSU errors. A bases loaded walk for Erin Knox brought in the third run of the frame for a 5-1 score before a sacrifice fly to center for Carli Woolsey capped off the inning for a 6-1 advantage.

MSU added three more runs in the seventh on three hits and two OPSU errors with a Thomas single driving in the first run of the inning. Springs came around to score on the second error of the inning before a groundout to second by Misty Muniz extended the lead to 9-1.
