FOR STARTERS
Midwestern State returns to MSU Soccer Field for the first time since the opening week of the season this weekend when the Mustangs host Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M in Lone Star Conference action. Midwestern will first battle ENMU in an 8 p.m. kickoff Friday before rounding out the weekend with a 1 p.m. match Sunday against WTAMU in the Highway 287 Challenge.

The Mustangs opened LSC play on the road last weekend, recording a 0-1-1 mark following a 2-1 loss to Texas Woman's and a 0-0 draw against Texas A&M-Commerce.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
– Eastern New Mexico enters the weekend with a 3-4-1 overall record and a 0-1-0 mark in LSC action
– Graduate forward Melissa Carnero and sophomore midfielder Morgan Fairbanks have combined for four of the Greyhounds' 10 goals this season

Damian Clarke led the Mustangs to an 8-6-5 overall record and a fourth-place finish in the Lone Star Conference with a 3-5-2 mark
– In seven seasons at Fort Lewis (Colo.), Clarke compiled a 106-31-17 record with five NCAA Tournament appearances
– Now in his ninth season as a head coach, Clarke holds a career mark of 117-39-24 with a winning percentage of .717 that ranks 12th in NCAA Division II
