SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS

- Junior goalkeeper Kevin Leib ranks fifth in NCAA Division II in save percentage (.868) and eighth in goals against average (0.57) while posting six clean sheets.

ABOUT THE SERIES
- Midwestern State takes on St. Edward's for the 36th time on the pitch Saturday afternoon in Austin.
- The Mustangs own a commanding 26-4-5 edge in the series which dates back to the 1987 season.
- MSU is 11-2-4 all time against the Hilltoppers in Austin.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
- Midwestern State can clinch its 16th consecutive 10-win campaign with a result over St. Edward's on Saturday.
- The Mustangs are also looking to extend their current unbeaten streak to 12 matches Saturday against St. Edward's (Texas). MSU rode an 11-0-2 run to the South Central Region finals in 2013 after starting the season by losing three out of four.
- Midwestern is 20-1-4 over its last 25 regular season matches.
- Senior midfielder Andrew Power (Waterford, Ireland / St. Paul's Secondary (Northern Iowa ACC)) tallied goals in each of MSU's last two games and has found the back of the net in nine of the Mustangs' 12 games this season.
- Power ranks 10th in NCAA Division II with 11 goals.
- Junior midfielder Ben Clarvis (Newton Abbot, England / Torquay Boys Grammar) assisted both of Midwestern's goals in a 2-0 win over Rogers State on Wednesday in Claremore.
- Clarvis and sophomore midfielder Paul Sunderland (Manchester, England / Wright Robinson Secondary) rank 21st in NCAA Division II with six assists.
- Junior defender Javan Toledo (Prosper, Texas / Prosper HS) scored his first collegiate goal in MSU's 2-0 win at Rogers State.
- Junior goalkeeper Nick Petolick (Frisco, Texas / Wakeland HS (Oral Roberts)) notched his 15th career shutout by making one stop Wednesday against Rogers State.
- With his next clean sheet, Petolick will move past Chris Robinson (15.5/1994-97) and into third place on the school's all time shutout list. He needs six more shutouts to pass Raul Herrera (21/2005, 09-10) for the program's all time lead.

- Doug Elder is in his 15th season at the helm of Midwestern State.
- Elder remains NCAA Division II winningest active coach in terms of percentage at 215-48-28 (.787).

- Elder's teams have advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason nine times while making five national quarterfinal appearances twice advancing to the Final Four.
- Elder needs seven wins to overtake Howard Patterson (221-85-20 from 1973-89) as the program's all-time leader in coaching wins.
