Midwestern closes the regular season with a Senior Day matchup against Southwestern Oklahoma Sunday at the MSU Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
Angelo State has lost just once in their last 12 matches while battling for a 7-1-1 Lone Star Conference mark. The Rambelles dropped a 2-1 decision at Texas Woman's and fought Eastern New Mexico to a scoreless draw as their only blemishes in league play. ASU is going for its first LSC title. Sophomore Sierra Anderson leads the 'Belles attack with seven goals and receives support from freshman forward Jenny Kotowych (5 goals, 2 assists) and sophomore midfielder Selena Alvarez (4 goals). Senior goalkeeper Danielle Edwards leads the LSC and ranks 15th in NCAA Division II with a 0.43 goals against average while posting seven shutouts. Angelo State scores 1.56 goals per game and allows 0.63.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State and Angelo State meet for the 27th time on the pitch Friday afternoon in San Angelo. The Mustangs own a 13-7-6 overall lead in the series, but the Rambelles own a slip 4-3-4 edge on matches played in San Angelo. MSU has won just once in its last six tries at the ASU Soccer Complex since claiming a win in 2002.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Southwestern Oklahoma State can clinch a Great American Conference title with a win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Friday before finishing the regular season at Midwestern State. The Bulldogs boast a 10-3-2 overall mark , a 6-1-1 mark in the GAC and have won five of their last six matches heading into the season's final weekend. Sophomore forward Miranda Balezentis paces the SWOSU attack with six goals while senior forward Kelsey Visor and sophomore midfielder Alexis Russell add five tallies each. Freshman Courtney Flores has posted a 0.77 goals against average and an .821 save percentage with five shutouts as the Bulldogs' primary goalkeeper. SWOSU averages 2.00 goals per game and allow 1.13.

Midwestern State and Southwestern Oklahoma State meet for the 15th time on the pitch Sunday afternoon at the MSU Soccer Field. The Mustangs own a commanding 13-1 edge in the series and have won each of the six matches played in Wichita Falls. Angelo State holds a slim three-point edge and has already claimed a share of the Lone Star Conference title with 22 points at 7-1-1. Midwestern State can snag a share of the title with a win over the Rambelles coming into the final weekend with a 6-2-1 mark good for 19 points. Texas A&M-Commerce (4-3-1, 13 points), Eastern New Mexico (1-3-4, 7 points), West Texas A&M (1-5-2, 5 points) and Texas Woman's (1-6-1, 4 points) round out the standings.

Midwestern State dropped one spot to 7th in the latest NCAA Division II South Central Region rankings.
