Midwestern State is out to make it two in a row and avenge a Dec. 12 loss in hosting the Angelo State Rambelles on Saturday.
MSU is 15-4 overall, 11-2 in LSC action after Tuesday's 90-82 win at Abilene Christian. Angelo State stands at 11-8 overall, 9-4 in the LSC after beating Cameron 53-47 in overtime at home on Wednesday.
Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

The game will air twice on Feb. 7 showing about 9 p.m. on The Texas Channel (Time Warner Digital Channel 888) following the MSU men's game at 7 p.m. that night, and at 8 p.m. on TWC Channel 15. The Texas Channel will also show the game on Feb. 8 at 9 a.m.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State bounced back from it's first loss since December with a 90-82 triumph at Abilene Christian. The Mustangs have won 14 of the last 16 games and 11 of their last 12 contests. They have also earned a berth to the Lone Star Conference Tournament in Allen, their first tournament appearance since 2003.
MSU boasts three double-figure scorers this season led by senior guard Savannah Carver, who was last week's LSC Offensive Player of the Week.
The Amarillo native ranks second in the LSC with 15.7 points per game while connecting on 1.7 3-pointers a contest.
Sophomore guard Kirsti Degelia scores 10.8 points a contest, while shooting 41.2 percent from the floor and adds 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Freshman Dianna Jones tallies 9.3 points a game for the Mustangs. She is connecting on a 1.0 treys an outing and leads the Lone Star Conference in 3-point percentage by nailing 45.9 percent (16-37). The Waco Midway High product pitches in 1.7 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
Senior forward Cierra Thompson adds 9.2 points and 6.1 rebounds.
Senior forward Jazman Patterson, last week's LSC Defensive Player of the Week, adds 6.1 rebounds a game to go with her 6.3 points and 42.3 percent shooting from the floor.
MSU is second in the Lone Star Conference averaging 74.1 points and 42.3 rebounds a game. The Mustangs allow opponents 66.2 points a contest.
ABOUT THE RAMBELLES
Angelo State enters the game with an 11-8 overall record, with a 9-4 Lone Star Conference mark -- two games behind MSU in third in the conference race. The Belles have won four of their last five games.
ASU is paced by Paige Weishuhn who averages 11.6 points a contest. the 6-1 senior also adds 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots an outing.
Haley Oliver collects 11.4 points a game. The 5-11 freshman grabs 4.7 boards a games while connecting on 1.1 3-pointers and collecting 1.2 steals a game.
Lauren Holt is averaging 8.0 points a contest for the Belles. The 6-3 sophomore leads the team with 6.6 rebounds a game with 1.1 blocks and a 41.3 shooting percentage from the floor.
The Rambelles are averaging 59.7 points a game, while allowing the opposition 58.1 a contest.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State faces Angelo State for the 52nd time on the hardwood Saturday when they meet at Ligon Coliseum.
ASU holds a 28-23 lead in the series that started in the 1978-79 season. The Mustangs hold an 18-8 series record in games against the Rambelles at D.L. Ligon Coliseum, while ASU holds a 20-4 record over Midwestern in San Angelo.
The Belles have won three straight games in the series, including a 64-58 win at the Junell Center/Stephens Arena in San Angelo on Dec. 12.
MSU last defeated Angelo State 69-67 on Feb. 24, 2010 in Wichita Falls.
It is the only MSU win over the Belles in the last six meetings. However, seven of the last nine contests have been decided by four points or less or in overtime.
