Senior forward Anthony Harris continues to lead a trio of double-digit scorers for Midwestern averaging 12.3 points and 4.9 rebounds a game.

ABOUT THE GREYHOUNDS

Eastern New Mexico has lost its last four games to quell its hot start to the 2011-12 season.

The Greyhounds rode the momentum of an exhibition win over UTEP to a 9-3 start before a loss at NCAA Division I Long Beach State started a four-game skid.

But ENMU has been a much better home team this season as the team is 4-1 with wins over Oklahoma Panhandle State, University of the Southwest, Angelo State and Abilene Christian.

The 'Hounds' skid has sent the team to a 2-5 mark in Lone Star Conference play.

Eastern New Mexico features a mix of strong perimeter players which compliments a deep group of bigs.

Senior guard Reggie Nelson leads a quartet of players averaging double figures for the Hounds at 13.8 points a game. The 6-1 transfer from Tyler Junior College has paced ENMU in scoring six times this season while shooting 40.7 percent from the arc and 90.9 percent (60-of-66) from the charity stripe.

Fellow senior guard Stefan Mirabal is one of the top outside threats in the LSC. The 6-3, 180-pound Albuquerque native averages 12.6 points knocking down 2.3 treys per game.

Senior Tralyn Harden (8.3 points), junior Devone Davis (6.5 points, 3.7 assists) and sophomore Kyle Lantz (2.8 points, 1.88 assist-to-turnover ratio) add quality depth to the ENMU guard rotation.

The Hounds' front court features four players standing 6-7 or taller led by 6-8 senior Curtis Wilkinson, who averages 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds a contest.

Senior forward Aaron Edwards (6-8) adds 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds a game, while 6-7 senior Max Carrier (7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds) and 6-8 junior Greg McFarland (4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds) gives ENMU great length up front.

Andrew Helton is in his third season at the helm at ENMU while leading the 'Hounds to a LSC postseason appearance last season. He boasts a 32-37 (.464) since arriving in Portales prior to the 2009-10 season.
