Jackson has appeared in 45 games and made 30 starts playing two seasons over three years for Midwestern. She returned from a knee injury this season after missing the 2009-10 campaign.
As one of the best defensive player in the LSC, the 5-8 guard from Wichita Falls averaged 7.9 points and 4.5 rebounds while leading the Mustangs in blocks and steals in each of her competition seasons.
Jackson delivered her top performance when the Mustangs extended No. 9 Northeastern State to double overtime earlier this season. The Burkburnett High product poured in 23 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and made three steals.
Markham plays in her 50th game tonight and will make her 35th start at forward.
And the 5-10 forward from Tulsa has been nothing but stellar as she has enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2010-11.
Markham leads the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game and pulls down 6.8 rebounds a contest.
She scored 20-or-more points five times in a seven-game stretch from Jan. 6-26 earlier this season and stands third in the LSC South in scoring average during division play with 16.7 points a game.
Markham enjoyed a career performance against tonight's opponent as she erupted for 27 points and 12 rebounds against the Rambelles at Junell Center earlier this season.
