Midwestern State is playing host to the four-team classic Friday and Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The classic opens with Friday afternoon with East Central (Okla.) and Washburn (Kan.) at 5 p.m. followed by Midwestern State against Central Missouri at about 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, East Central takes on Central Missouri at 5 p.m. before the Mustangs battle Washburn in the finale at about 7:30 p.m.

Midwestern State fell to 1-1 with a 74-65 loss Tuesday night at Newman (Kan.).
The Mustangs are paced by senior guard
Savannah Carver (20.5 pts., 3.5 reb.) while freshman guard
Shatoia Gober (13.5 pts, 3.5 reb.) and sophomore guard
Kirsti Degelia (11.5 pts., 2.0 reb., 2.0 ast.) join her in double figures.
The Mustangs are shooting 41.8 percent from the field while fighting their way to 89 free throws in their opening two games of the 2011-12 season.
East Central (Okla.) dropped a 72-67 overtime decision to NAIA St. Gregory's Tuesday night at Kerr Center in Ada.
Junior guard Jourdan Clark and sophomore forward Ashley Robison paced ECU off of the bench with 13 points each while starting center Fanta Toure dropped in 12 points with six rebounds.
Clark is the top returning scorers (11.2 points, 5.0 rebounds) off of ECU's 10-17 squad in 2010-11.
Central Missouri's Shaquandra Wiggins and Renae Shippy enjoyed near perfect nights in leading the Jennies to an 89-54 win in Monday's season opener against Evangel at the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
Wiggins, a 6-2 junior forward, connected on 11-of-12 shots from the field to finish with 24 points and seven rebounds while 6-0 senior forward Renae Shippy added 11 points going a 3-for-3 from the field with two 3-pointers.
Senior forward Nicole Caddell completed a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while senior guard Taylor Hanson and senior forward Kaneesha Lee pitched in 10 points each.
Caddell is UCM's top returning scorer (12.1 points, 7.6 rebounds) from last season's Jennie squad which finished with a 16-13 mark.

Washburn (Kan.) has rolled its first five opponents by an average of 43.4 points per game while opening the season at 5-0.
The Lady Blues have topped the century mark in each of their last two outings including a 108-60 win over Southwestern (Kan.) Wednesday night after blasting Tabor 111-19 in the their home opener Monday night in Topeka.
Washburn rolled to wins of 71-55 over Cal State-Dominguez Hills, 52-36 over Saint Martin's and 90-45 against Hawaii Pacific at the Disney Tip-off West Coast Classic in Anaheim, Calif. from Nov. 4-6.
The Lady Blues' balance attack boasts seven player averaging at least 6.8 points per game including senior guard Stevi Schultz (12.6 pts., 4.2 reb., 3.4 ast.), senior guard Ebonie Williams (12.0 pts, 3.8 reb., 2.6 ast.), senior center Cassie Lombardino (9.6 pts., 6.6 reb.), freshman forward Brittney Lynch (8.0 pts., 4.8 reb.), junior forward Sierra Moeller (8.0 pts., 8.6 reb.), junior forward Laura McMullin (7.4 pts., 5.0 reb.) and senior guard Megan Lassley (6.8 pts.).
