About the Mustangs
Midwestern State (8-17, 3-8) can finish its season on a positive note and complete the season with an over-.500 home mark with a victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville.
The Mustangs have dropped their last two at D.L. Ligon Coliseum but carry a 6-5 home record into their home finale.
About the Javelinas
Texas A&M-Kingsville (16-11, 5-6) can clinch a berth in the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament next week in Bartlesville with a win over MSU and if Angelo State defeats Tarleton State Saturday night in Stephenville.
The Javelinas are eliminated with a loss or a Tarleton State win.
TAMUK has lost six of its last nine after starting the season with a 12-5 record with big home victories over Central Missouri, Emporia State and Central Oklahoma.
The Hoggies boast a 9-4 record at Steinke Center, but have struggled away from Kingsville as they are 5-7 on hostile floors.

Rosy Ofoegbu has averaged 8.7 points and 6.5 rebounds a game since transferring from Temple College to Midwestern prior to her junior season.
This season, the 5-10 forward has scored in double figures nine times for a 7.9 points-per-game average while pulling in 5.5 rebounds. She has finished strongly by scoring 10-or-more points in nine of her last 14 contests.
Regiane Araujo is MSU's top offensive threat this season as a one-year transfer from Washburn (Kan.) University.
The 6-4 center averages 13.2 points and pulls in a team-best 8.8 rebounds. She also tops the team with a 50.2 field goal percentage.
LaKeisha Jones paces Texas A&M-Kingsville with averages of 15.4 points and 7.1 rebounds a game.
The 6-0 senior center, who shot 54.1 percent from the field, has paced the Javelinas in scoring 15 times this season including a season-high 24-point outburst against Texas A&M International on Dec. 20.
Texas A&M-Kingsville also boasts three more dangerous scoring options in junior forward Angela Franklin (11.1 points per game), junior guard Felicia Soza (9.5 points per game, 36.2 percent from 3-point range) and junior guard Dyana Bullinger (9.3 points per game, 44.4 percent from 3-point range).

Midwestern State and Texas A&M-Kingsville meet for the 27th time on the hardwood Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs won a 15-11 edge in the series, but the Javelinas have claimed wins in each of the last two games including a 63-57 win on Jan. 17 at Steinke Center in Kingsville.
