WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State welcomes Eastern New Mexico to Memorial Stadium for its conference opener on Saturday night. The culmination of Family Weekend kicks off at 6 p.m.
The Mustangs (0-2, 0-0) and Greyhounds (0-3, 0-1) are both seeking their first win of the season.
Midwestern State is coming off a 38-13 loss to No. 8-ranked Western Colorado two weeks ago, while Eastern New Mexico opened its conference campaign last week and lost to Angelo State, 31-20.

Jakolby Longino leads the ninth-most prolific passing attack in NCAA Division II with 330.5 yards passing per game. Longino has completed 58-of-87 passes for 661 yards with three touchdowns and one interception through his first two games with the Mustangs.
Demonte Green is sixth in the nation with 8.5 receptions per game and seventh among Division II receivers with 120.5 yards per game. The sophomore from Dallas is leading the Lone Star Conference in both categories.
Connor Dunphy has caught nine passes for 55 yards, and
Jamarion Carroll has reeled in seven passes for 74 yards.
Cedonyae Lott has five receptions for 87 yards. Greene, Carroll and
Case Peacock have caught touchdown passes this season.
The Mustangs have only rushed for 39.5 yards per game this season, and
Christian Olige is the leading rusher with 45 yards on 12 carries this season. Olige has the longest run of the season for MSU with a 16-yard run in the 33-19 loss at Missouri Southern.
Midwestern State leads the conference and is eighth in NCAA Division II in fewest penalty yards per game. In two games, MSU has been penalized eight times for 60 yards and was only penalized three times for 15 yards in the loss to Western Colorado.
Noah Bustard leads the Mustangs with 16 tackles and has the only sack recorded by the MSU defense.
Amani Pressley has the only interception for Midwestern State, which has only forced the one turnover in its first two games.
Midwestern State leads the all-time series with Eastern New Mexico, 23-7, and has won the last four meetings. The Greyhounds are 4-10 when visiting MSU and their last win at Memorial Stadium was 27-24 victory in 2019. The first-ever meeting between the two schools came in 1949, when Midwestern State defeated ENMU, 45-0, in Wichita Falls.
Kelley Lee is in his sixth season as the head coach at Eastern New Mexico after graduating from Western New Mexico in 2000. Lee is 29-29 since initially taking over the program in 2017. After a three-year departure, Lee returned to the school in 2023. Last year, the Greyhounds finished the season with a 3-8 record.
Eastern New Mexico is rushing for 224.7 yards per game, led by sophomore quarterback Chad Ragle, who is averaging 68.33 yards per game on the ground. Ragle has scored three of the four rushing touchdowns for ENMU. Xavier Johnson, a sophomore running back, is rushing for 60 yards per game and averaging 6.7 yards per carry for the Greyhounds.
Opponents are rushing for 239.7 yards per game against Eastern New Mexico and have scored nine rushing touchdowns through the first three weeks of the season. However, ENMU has held the opposition to 93.7 yards passing per game, but the Greyhounds have allowed three passing touchdowns.
Ragle has completed 19-of-42 passes for 304 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions this season.
Gerry Gomez is the leading receiver for ENMU with 10 receptions for 166 yards and three touchdowns. Gomez is the only Greyhound to catch a touchdown pass this season.
Midwestern State travels to Ratliff Stadium in Odessa, Texas, to face UT Permian Basin next Saturday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
