Midwestern State's first road game will be Sept. 5 at Michigan Tech. The Mustangs won their only previous encounter with the Huskies in 2022 at Memorial Stadium, 28-21, when MSU erupted for 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Western Oregon and Angelo State are also traveling to Wichita Falls for the 2026 season. The Wolves invade Memorial Stadium on Oct. 3 for a 2 p.m. game, and Angelo State makes its 15th visit on Oct. 17 as MSU looks to end a four-game losing streak in the all-time series.

Midwestern State is traveling to West Texas A&M on Sept. 26 and will seek its first win in Canyon, Texas, since 2012.

The Mustangs will attempt to win at Central Washington for the first time in four visits on Oct. 10. Midwestern State is 0-5 in the all-time series with the Wildcats.

Texas A&M-Kingsville is hosting Midwestern State on Halloween night at 7 p.m. The Mustangs had a five-game winning streak at Javelina Stadium snapped when they visited in 2024 and fell to the Javelinas, 40-13. MSU beat TAMUK last season at Memorial Stadium, 31-24.

The regular season ends on Nov. 14 with a showdown against Eastern New Mexico on Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium in Portales, New Mexico, where the Mustangs have won four in a row, including a 36-15 victory two years ago.
