PORTALES, NM -- Midwestern State earned a 3-0 win (25-18, 25-17, 25-21) against the Sul Ross State Lobos in the Lone Star Conference Preview Saturday afternoon at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.
It is the third consecutive win for the Mustangs, who improve to 6-5 on the season.
Riley Rabedeaux finished with 16 kills to lead the Mustangs attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .500. The Mustangs got 12 digs from Jenna Redding to lead them defensively.
Midwestern State takes on No. 21-ranked Angelo State in its Lone Star Conference opener Friday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
