WICHITA FALLS, Texas --The Midwestern State volleyball team fell to the 14th-ranked Angelo State Rambelles in straight sets (15-25, 23-25, 18-25) Friday night at DL Ligon Coliseum.
The loss dropped Midwestern State's record to 6-6 overall and 0-1 in LSC play.
Isabella Dickens finished with 10 kills to lead the Mustangs offense, while finishing with a hitting percentage of .391. The Mustangs got 10 digs from Jenna Redding to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Mustangs found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-15. Midwestern State trailed by as many as 11 points as Angelo State grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up two times before the Rams took control.
SET 2 | Midwestern State dropped the second set 25-23, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Mustangs dropped a back-and-forth set, losing in a stanza that featured two lead changes and was tied 15 times. Neither team led by more than four points along the way.
SET 3 | Midwestern State was not able to win set three and was swept by Angelo State. The Mustangs fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-18.
