WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State got a pair of goals from Nyxalee Munoz, while Lexi Beck had a goal and three assists in a 6-0 shutout win over Sul Ross State on Monday afternoon at MSU Practice Field. Beck set the school record for career assists with 25 and now has eight assists this season.

The win boosted Midwestern State's record to 9-3-5 overall and 5-2-5 in Lone Star Conference action.

How it Happened

Midwestern State took a 1-0 lead when Munoz recorded her sixth goal of the season in the fourth minute. Beck got her first of three assists in the match.

The Mustangs tacked on another score on a goal from Lyndi Maxson -- her first goal of the season -- in the 45th minute.

Midwestern State went up 3-0 on Munoz's 55th-minute goal, her sixth of the season. Beck assisted on the goal.

The Mustangs kept Sul Ross State off the board and grabbed a 4-0 lead with a 60th-minute goal from Natalie Tempelman, her first goal of the season..

Midwestern State extended its advantage to 5-0 on Lillia Besedin's third goal of the season in the 79th minute, assisted by Marissa Resendez and Beck.

The Mustangs increased their lead to 6-0 thanks to an 87th-minute goal from Beck, her fourth goal of the season. Isabella Cruz assisted on the goal.
