WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State earned the No. 4 seed in the South Central Region and will travel to Golden, Colo., to face Colorado Mesa in the first round the NCAA Division II Championship as announced via selection show Monday by the women's soccer committee.
The Mustangs would face top-seeded Colorado School of Mines in the second round with a victory over the Mavericks.
Angelo State is the No. 2 seed in the region and hosts matches in the first two rounds of the tournament. The Rambelles meet either No. 3-seed Dallas Baptist or No. 6-seed MSU Denver in the second round.
Highest remaining seeds will serve as host to third-round matches on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Quarterfinal matches are slated for Saturday, Dec. 7 at the home of the highest remaining seeds.
The four quarterfinal winners move on to the NCAA Division II finals set for Dec. 13-15 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina.
Midwestern State is making its seventh NCAA postseason appearance and its first since 2021.
