WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State's Lexi Beck earned second-team honors Tuesday afternoon when the United Soccer Coaches announced its annual All-South Central Region postseason awards.

The senior from Fort Worth led the Lone Star Conference in assists on the way to becoming the program's all-time leader in the category, while also earning first-team, all-conference honors for the third consecutive year.

Beck, who also scored five goals, finished the season with 10 assists, including a school record of four in a 6-0 win over Sul Ross State earlier this month to escalate her career total to 27.

Beck was a three-time D2CCA All-South Central Region performer, earning second-team honors in 2022 and 2023, before gaining first-team accolades this season. This was her first United Soccer Coaches' postseason honor.

Beck also finished her career ranked ninth on the program's all-time point list with 65 and was 10th with 19 goals.

Beck is the first Midwestern State student-athlete to gain USC postseason accolades since Kelly Cannistra and Nicole Marsolek earned second-team mention in 2021.

Midwestern State finished the campaign with an 11-5-5 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason for the seventh time in program history.
