MSU earns 2-2 draw against Rambelles

WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State trailed Angelo State 2-1 at halftime, but rallied to tie the game, 2-2, Saturday afternoon at Stang Park.

Midwestern State improved its record to 6-1-2 overall and 2-0-2 in Lone Star Conference play.

How it Happened

Angelo State scored first as Sanai Stewart netted a goal in the sixth minute, assisted by Ashlyn Vick.

The Mustangs responded to tie the game on a goal from Madison Brinkley -- her sixth goal of the season -- in the ninth minute, assisted by Lexi Beck.

Angelo State then reclaimed the lead on Shaelyn Ward's 14th-minute goal off a corner kick.

The Mustangs scored the equalizer with a goal from Isabella Cruz, her first goal of the season, in the 61st minute.
