PORTALES, N.M. -- Midwestern State got a pair of goals from Jimena Rodriguez in a 6-1 victory over Eastern New Mexico on Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Mustangs improved to 7-1-2 overall and 3-0-2 in the Lone Star Conference.

How it Happened

The Mustangs got on the scoreboard first on Cassidy Savoy's 33rd-minute goal — her sixth goal of the season. 

Rodriguez scored two goals and assisted on a Rylee Earle goal in the 86th minute.

Lexi Beck remained perfect on PKs in her career, converting all four attempts, and also assisted on a goal for the third time in four matches. Beck has two goals and four assists this season.

Averi Culver had the first three-point game of her career with a goal and an assist.
