WEATHERFORD, OK --The Midwestern State volleyball team fired back after losing the first set to secure a 3-1 win (20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 29-27) against the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs at Pioneer Event Center on Tuesday night.
The non-conference victory improved Midwestern State's overall record to 10-10 on the season.
The Mustangs were led by a double-double from Demi Stauffenberg, who registered a season-high 17 kills and 21 digs on the day. Riley Rabedeaux added 15 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Amy Dewalt chipped in with 18 digs to go with five blocks from Gabrielle Oos.

SET 2 | Midwestern State fought back from a first-set loss to take the second set 25-23, evening the match at one set apiece. The Mustangs survived a back-and-forth set to win in a stanza that featured four lead changes and was tied six times. Neither team led by more than four points along the way.
SET 3 | Midwestern State went ahead 2-1 in the match after defeating the Bulldogs in set three.
