WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Lexi Beck scored her first of two goals in the sixth minute, and Midwestern State never relinquished control of the match in a resounding 5-0 victory over Eastern New Mexico at Stang Park on Wednesday night. The Mustangs have won five of their last six matches and improved to 5-2-2 overall and 2-1-0 in the Lone Star Conference.
Beck finished with two goals and an assist for Midwestern State. The junior from Fort Worth has seven goals and two assists this season. In three career appearances against the Greyhounds, Beck has three goals and three assists, and she has at least one point in all three matches.
McKenna Jenkins had an assist on Beck's first goal, and the freshman from Frisco scored her first goal of the season in the 70th minute.

Isabella Cruz for her second goal of the season as Midwestern State established a 2-0 lead in the opening 14 minutes of play.
Cassidy Savoy, who had started 42 consecutive games for Midwestern State, came in as a substitute in the 27th minute and assisted on two goals for the Mustangs. Savoy's first assist led to Beck's second goal in the 33rd minute as MSU took a 3-0 lead. She also assisted on Jenkins' goal in the second half.
Sophomore forward
Jewel Lewis made her fifth appearance and scored her first goal of the campaign on her second shot of the season. Freshman
Ashlynn Knight, a product of Rider High School in Wichita Falls, recorded her first collegiate point with an assist on the Lewis goal in the 41st minute as the Mustangs took an insurmountable 4-0 lead at the halftime interval.
The Mustangs scored five goals at home for the first time since defeating Southern Nazarene, 6-1, on Sept. 19 of 2014.
Midwestern State outshot the Greyhounds 14-2 in the first half and finished the match with 13 of 25 shots on goal. ENMU managed just five shots, including a Nina Ballesteros penalty kick in the 34th minute, but the senior midfielder went down the middle and right into MSU goalkeeper
Lexi Jackson, who made her only save of the match.
Jackson came out of the match in the 77th minute and combined with
Allison Dellis for the clean sheet. Dellis, a freshman from Denton, Texas, made her first appearance for the Mustangs but was not challenged by the Greyhounds, who only managed one shot on goal for the entire match.
Fifth-year senior center back
Maya Warrior was the only player for MSU to play the full 90 minutes as 21 players made an appearance for the Mustangs.
Eastern New Mexico used 24 players, and junior defender Raegan Dash was the only Greyhound to log 90 minutes.
Senior goalkeeper Samantha Jeffries allowed five goals and made six saves before junior Yaritza Pelayo came into the match and made two saves in nearly 12 minutes of action.
Midwestern State leads the series with ENMU, 18-9-3, and has won the last three meetings. The Mustangs have outscored the Greyhounds in that span, 11-0.
ENMU is 0-4-2 over its last six matches and has been shut out in all four losses during that span. The Greyhounds have been outshot in their last four matches, 86-17. ENMU is 1-4-4 overall and 0-2-1 in the LSC.
The Mustangs are 3-0-1 at home this season but are on the road to face St. Mary's in San Antonio on Saturday. Kickoff at Sigma Beta Chi Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
