WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State was upset it did not take advantage of its chances in a 2-2 draw with Rogers State on Thursday. The Mustangs took out their frustration by scoring on their first three chances against MSU Denver and led 3-0 in the seventh minute. Midwestern State scored twice in the second half and defeated the Roadrunners, 5-0.

Mere Escobar continued his streak, scoring his fourth goal in his fourth game and adding two assists, as the Mustangs raced past the Roadrunners.

In the sixth minute, Escobar weaved his way through the Roadrunners defense and gave the Mustangs a 2-0 lead with a tremendous individual effort in the box.

Just over a minute later, Escobar and Max Gonzalez assisted on a Jack Larkin goal as Midwestern State put the game out of reach.

The Mustangs dominated possession throughout the game. Liam Pritchard set up Conner Lewis for a goal in the 67th minute, and Pritchard would score himself in the 72nd minute, assisted by Cesar Rodriguez.
