WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Tatiana Trotter hit her first two home runs of the season and had five RBIs as Angelo State muscled its way past Midwestern State, 10-1, in the first game of a three-game series Friday afternoon at Mustangs Park.
Ashton McMillan and Keilei Garcia also blasted home runs for the Rambelles, who pounded out 11 hits and scored at least one run in all five innings.

Kayla Bryant with a sacrifice fly to centerfield as Midwestern State tied the game, 1-1.
Armendariz made a course correction and finished with four walks and four strikeouts through four innings of work, allowing one run on one hit. Armendariz improved to 9-2 on the season. Torrey Hogan closed out the game, facing four batters in the fifth inning. Hogan surrendered one hit and recorded a strikeout.

Jessika Roberts had the only two hits for Midwestern State, which fell to 1-16 on the season and is 0-10 in conference play.
Starting pitcher
Taylor McKenzie worked 2 1/3 innings in the circle for the Mustangs, allowing seven earned runs on eight hits. She recorded three strikeouts, all in the first inning. McKenzie issued two walks and fell to 0-7 for the season.
Jasmine Trevino made her eighth appearance for MSU and worked 2 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits. Trevino hit a batter for the fourth time in five games but did not allow a base on balls.
The Mustangs committed two errors as Angelo State improved its record to 13-8 overall and 5-5 in the Lone Star Conference.
