TYLER, Texas -- Start times for Midwestern State's three-game Lone Star Conference series with UT Tyler have been shifted due to forecasted severe weather and rain.

The Mustangs and Patriots will now play a single game Friday at 5 p.m. before closing the series with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m.

The games are set for broadcast on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network at MSUMustangs.com/streaming.

All video streams on the LSC Digital Network are also available on Over-The-Top (OTT) apps on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Roku by searching "LSC Digital Network."

LAST TIME OUT | Sophomore Zoe Isom limited UT Permian Basin to one run on six hits with four strikeouts to lead Midwestern State to a 2-1 win in Game 2. However, the Falcons won the series by taking the opener, 7-4, and the finale, 7-1. Freshman Allie Monroe led the Mustangs at the plate going 4-for-10 with a triple and an RBI in the series. Freshman Maegan Shannon smashed her second homer of the season in the opener and added a double in Game 2.

MUSTANGS TRACKS | Freshman Allie Monroe leads the Mustangs and ranks 43rd in the Lone Star Conference hitting .321 with six doubles, a triple, and two homers while driving in 10 runs... Monroe is currently on a season-best three-game hitting streak and batting .400 (4-for-10) during the stretch with a double, a triple, and an RBI... Sophomore Sidney Shimkus has also hit .400 (4-for-10) during her current season-best three-game hitting streak...
