WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State closes out the regular season Thursday at D.L. Ligon Coliseum by renewing its Red River Rivalry with the Cameron Aggies. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The Mustangs will also recognize the contributions made by three seniors playing their final game at Midwestern State — Sheridan Bostic, Shawnisay Millar and Mandy Withey — in a postgame ceremony.

LAST MEETING | Cameron used near flawless offensive execution to roll to a 99-77 win over Midwestern State at Aggie Gym in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Dec. 17. Midwestern State freshman Dyamon Griggs logged her first collegiate double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Natalie Stice scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers. Shawnisay Millar scored 11 points on the strength of a 6-of-7 effort from the charity stripe. Cameron sophomore Katie King closed with 18 points and nine assists as the Aggies shot 58.6 percent from the field. The Aggies secured their highest scoring output of the season with five players scoring in double figures.

LAST TIME OUT | Natalie Stice's 3-pointer from the top of the key with one second remaining in regulation forced overtime Saturday afternoon at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Center. But Texas A&M International took control by scoring seven consecutive points in the extra frame to hold off Midwestern State, 88-85. Midwestern State outscored Texas A&M International in each of the first three periods Saturday at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Center. The Mustangs extended the lead to 10 after scoring the first six points fueled by consecutive layups by Stice and a pair of free throws by Mandy Withey to go up 57-47 with 8:37 to play. But Texas A&M International responded with an 11-0 run culminated by a three-point play by sophomore Barbara Turkalj as the Dustdevils claimed a 58-57 lead with 6:17 to play. Sheridan Bostic buried four 3-pointers to finish with a season-high 18 points… Dyamon Griggs recorded her 10th double-double of the season finishing with 16 points and 16 rebounds in 31 minutes off the bench. Shawnisay Millar battled her way to 15 points going 3-for-4 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the free throw line. It was her third double-digit performance in the last four games and fifth of the season. Eternity Jackson dished out a career-high seven assists.
