Midwestern State saw its six-game winning streak come to an end with an 87-65 loss to No. 10-ranked Dallas Baptist on Thursday night, but the Mustangs responded with a resounding 99-78 victory over UT Tyler on Saturday afternoon.

Amaechi Chukwu was 9 of 10 in the two games combined at D.L. Ligon Coliseum and will be available for the rematch with St. Mary's. The Mustangs defeated the Rattlers in overtime, 108-104, as the two teams clashed in a non-conference encounter on Nov. 18 in Wichita Falls. Chukwu and
