LAWTON, Okla. — Midwestern State used all-around performances from
Jermane Carter and
Marquis Davison to roll to a 71-59 win over Cameron Saturday afternoon at Aggie Gym.

MSU senior
Jermane Carter notched his second consecutive double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, but added seven assists, three steals, and two blocked shots to lead the Mustangs to their fourth win of the season.
Meanwhile, junior
Marquis Davison added 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists to join
Pierre Sanders and
Luke Hamilton as three Mustangs scored a dozen points.
Senior guard
Derrick Ogechi ignited a 12-0 run for the Mustangs at the start of the second half, then Davison hit a runner in the paint.
Carter and Davison had back-to-back dunks before Hamilton drained one of his four 3-pointers from the top of the key to push the Mustangs' advantage to 39-276.
Midwestern State led by as many as 15 points in the second half.

Jermane Carter finished off his seventh career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The senior added a career-best seven assists.

Marquis Davison scored in double figures for the fourth straight game. He was 5-of-9 from the field and added six rebounds and three steals.

Pierre Sanders logged his third-straight double-digit outing with 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting with two 3-pointers. Sanders has scored at least 10 points in eight of 10 games this season.

Luke Hamilton buried a season-high four 3-pointers to finish with 12 points.
⁃ Junior Desean Munson paced Cameron with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
⁃ Junior Jaden Okon notched his second double-double of the season for the Aggies with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
GAME NOTES >>>
⁃ Midwestern State won consecutive games for the second time this season. The Mustangs beat Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho on November 25-26, and beat St. Mary's earlier this week.
⁃ MSU claimed its sixth consecutive win over the Aggies and lead the overall series, 55-30.
⁃ Midwestern State hit a season-high 10 3-pointers going 10-for-32 (31.3 percent) from beyond the arc.
