Harrison, Gill earn D2CCA All-Super Region Four honors

WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State's Kylan Harrison and Caleb Gill earned D2CCA All-Super Region Four second-team honors as released Thursday afternoon.

Harrison garnered second-team all-region honors for the second consecutive season as a return specialist.

The 6-1, 193-pound senior from Paris, Texas, averaged 29.6 yards on 15 returns, and became the third player in program history to amass 1,000 yards on kick returns.

Harrison is the only MSU player to return two kicks for scores during his career including a 92-yard return for a TD at Tarleton State in the Spring of 2021 and a 95-yard return for a score against Western New Mexico in 2021.

Harrison, who earned first-team All-LSC honors as a wide receiver and return specialist, closed the 2022 campaign with 26 receptions for 354 yards and three touchdowns.

Harrison became the third player in program history to mass 2,000 receiving yards closing his career with 118 catches for 2,034 yards. He is the Mustangs' all-time leader with 24 touchdown catches.

Gill garnered D2CAA All-Super Region Four honors after claiming All-LSC accolades in each of the last two seasons.

The senior guard out of Denton Guyer High spearheaded an offensive unit for the LSC's No. 3 offensive attack which averaged 397.5 yards and 30.3 points per game.

The Mustangs boasted the league's best rushing attack rolling up 190.9 yards per game. The offensive line also lead the LSC in fewest tackles for loss allowed at 4.18 per game and was second in sacks permitted at 1.36 per game.
