WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Lexi Jackson made a career-high nine saves, but Michelle Gonzalez scored her fourth goal of the season in the 83rd minute and top-ranked Dallas Baptist (9-1-1, 5-1-1) defeated Midwestern State (5-6-1, 2-4-1) Saturday night at Patriot Soccer Field, 1-0.

Dallas Baptist outshot Midwestern State 18-12 and managed to get 10 shots on goal en route to the sixth-straight home victory. Goalkeeper Adrianna Schroeder recorded her fifth shutout of the season for the Patriots with five saves. Olivia Okoye had two shots on goal for MSU. Cassidy Savoy, Randi Heaton and Isabella Cruz each had one shot on goal for the Mustangs, who are 1-4-1 on the road this season.
