2 | Midwestern State is dominate on its home pitch at Stang Park. The Mustangs boast a 189-26-21 mark (.890) in 25 seasons of NCAA Division II at the facility which includes a 43-match unbeaten streak from 2008-12 and a 29-match unbeaten run from 2016-19. MSU is 20-1-4 at Stang Park during the
Michael Meachum era (since 2018) and are riding an nine-match unbeaten streak into Saturday's game against Simon Fraser.

Trevor Amann is the most lethal offensive option in all of NCAA Division II. The senior forward from Westminster, Colo. leads the level with 14 total points. Amann ranks second in the nation with six goals and is 10th in NCAA Division II with three assists. He has scored goals in four of MSU's matches this season including braces against Missouri S&T and Rogers State. Amann owns 14 goals and six assists over his last 15 games for the Mustangs dating back to the start of the spring season.

Carlos Flores has enjoyed a stellar run as a midfielder at Midwestern State. The senior from Arlington has amassed 65 total points in 79 career games scoring 20 goals and dishing out 25 assists. Flores is 21st on MSU's all-time points list (65) and needs six more to move past Brandon Swartzendruber (65, 2005-06), John Hedlund (64, 1980-81, 83-84), Ahmad Ihmeidan (64, 2004-08), Majid Mosavat (63, 1982-84) and Alex Opoku (63, 1999-00) and into the Top 20. His 25 assists are tied for eighth all time with Jeremy Key, who had 25 assists from 1986-89.

Marc-Antoine Huzen has gone the distance in goal for Midwestern State this season allowing three goals in 450 minutes for a 0.60 goals against average with three clean sheets. Huzen boasts a 11-1-1 career record between the posts with eight shutouts.
HEAD COACH MICHAEL MEACHUM is in the midst of his fourth season as head coach at Midwestern State and his 10th overall in Wichita Falls. He served the first seven years as top assistant for the legendary Doug Elder. During that time, Meachum helped the Mustangs reach two NCAA Division II South Central Region finals and to the national quarterfinals. Meacham boasts a 43-9-4 record (.804) since taking the reins of the program prior to the 2018 season. He has led the Mustangs to the 2018 Heartland Conference title, the 2019 Lone Star Conference postseason tournament crown and to two NCAA Division II postseason appearances in 2018 and 2019. Prior to MSU, Meachum served as an assistant at NAIA Bethany College (Kan.) and Hastings (Neb.), at Division I Oral Roberts and Division II Northeastern State.
SERIES AGAINST SIMON FRASER
Midwestern State and Simon Fraser face off for the third time, but the first time since both schools entered NCAA Division II. SFU has won all three matches, including the NAIA National Tournament Final in 1983. The opposition beat the Mustangs at Stang Park to claim the national title, which MSU will look to avenge on Sunday. Simon Fraser also won 4-0 in 1982 and 2-1 in 1977.
