OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma Christian's dynamic duo of Brooklin Bain and Maddison Collyer Ingraham notched double-doubles as the leveled the season series beating Midwestern State 65-49 at the Eagles' Nest.
Bain, a freshman from Comanche, Okla., set career highs scoring 25 points and pulling down 17 rebounds. The 5-10 guard connected on 9-of-13 of her shots with three 3-pointers led for 39 of the 40 minutes.
Collyer Ingraham, a senior from Harrah, Okla., added 13 points and dished out a season-high 11 assists. She came into the game as the Lone Star Conference's assist leader at 5.8 per game.
Midwestern State struggled to its second worst shooting game of the season shooting 29.4 percent from the field. The Mustangs managed one made 3-pointer on 20 tries.
Senior forward
Hannah Reynolds paced MSU with 14 points and six rebounds, while
Morgan Lenahan and
Mandy Withey added seven points each.
Midwestern State takes on St. Edward's in an LSC crossover game Monday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
