WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State announced the addition of 28 prep standouts on Wednesday for National Signing Day.
 
The signing class included 16 offensive prospects and 12 on the defensive side of the ball.
 
Offensively, the Mustangs signed five offensive linemen, four wide receivers, three running backs, two tight ends and two quarterbacks.
 
The class featured five defensive linemen, four cornerbacks, three linebackers and a safety.
 
Midwestern State inked multiple student-athletes from three schools including three from Texarkana Texas High and two from both Paradise High and Nolan Catholic School in Fort Worth.
 
MSU coach Bill Maskill is scheduled to discuss the class in this week's special StangGang Podcast set for release on Thursday.
