WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State's
Trevor Amann culminated a stellar collegiate career by earning first-team All-America honors as released by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association Tuesday afternoon.
The senior from Westminster, Colorado becomes the sixth MSU student-athlete to earn first-team D2CCA All-America honors and the first since teammate
Rory O'Keeffe earned top honors following the 2018 season.
Amann adds his name to a legendary list of Mustangs including forward Daniel Brown (2007), goalkeeper Raul Herrera (2009, 2010), midfielder Nathan Fitzgerald (2010), defender
Ryan Spence (2010) and defender O'Keeffe (2018).
Amann became the third MSU player to gain South Central Region Player of the Year accolades last week joining Brown in 2007 and Herrera in 2010.
Amann, a two-time Lone Star Conference Player of the Year, set career highs with 16 goals and six assists ranking 11th in NCAA Division II scoring 0.84 goals per match and was ninth in the nation with two points per game.

The process begins at the regional level with the first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot. This marks the 15th year that teams have been selected since the All-America program began in 2006.
The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among conferences as the discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
