OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Trevor Amann gained his ninth tally of the year in Midwestern State's 2-1 victory over Oklahoma Christian.
Julian Barajas punched the final ticket to push the Mustangs to 8-1 on the season.

Amann completed his goal early in the eighth minute on an assist from
James Doyle to put the visitors up early. Doyle clinched his second helper of 2021 and added three shots.

MSU rocked 9 shots in the first half with
Mere Escobar notching four. The sophomore finished the match with five shots and one on goal. Amann also completed five attempts with one on target.

OC notched one shot in the first 45 to force
Marc-Antoine Huzen to one save. Anthony Trabichet also completed a stop in the first half.

Barajas put the nail in the coffin with his 62nd minute strike. The senior registered his second goal of the year for his seventh point. Midwestern put up ten shots in the second half with
Rory Doyle gaining both of his shots and the team totaling 19 on the match.

Oklahoma Christian made a slight comeback with Michele Perina downing a penalty kick in the 87th minute to put the home side down by one. The Eagles recorded six second half shots to total seven on the night. Trabichet made three saves for four on the game.

Midwestern State takes on Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 9, this time at Stang Park in a Lone Star Conference match. The kick off is set for 3 p.m. for the Breast Cancer Awareness game.
