The Stang Gang Podcast for Tuesday, April 7 features Midwestern State graduate assistant football coach Alex Charlton.
 
Charlton is currently battling on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic serving as nurse at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
 
Charlton began his tenure as a graduate assistant coach for wide receivers at MSU at the beginning of March and plans to return to Wichita Falls for the next football season.
 
He previously served student assistant, player personnel assistant and finally as a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas from 2009-2015 before completing his nursing degree from UMKC.
 
Charlton discusses the coronavirus, his decision to return to nursing during the pandemic and his desire to pursue a collegiate football coaching career.
