WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State took advantage of a short-handed Colorado State-Pueblo side in a 7-0 win on Friday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center.
The ThunderWolves fielded only two doubles teams and entered only five singles matches.
"Like them, we've had some injuries this season," MSU Texas head coach
Scott Linn said. "Today, we moved guys into the lineup and they performed."
MSU Texas won both doubles matches, then won all six singles matches to make it three straight wins at the Wichita Falls Invitational.

Quentin Scharfenberg won their second straight match together, 7-6 over Daniel Garcia/Rafael Abreu to hand the Mustangs a 1-0 lead.
In singles action, freshman
Alexandre Crepy blasted his way to a 6-1, 6-0 win at number three and
Alex Martinez Roca, elevated to the top spot, handled Daniel Garcia, 6-2, 6-2.
Leading 3-0, Diaz notched a 7-5, 6-1 win at the number two spot.
Brice Bradshaw and
Abhiram Venkatachalam also earned victories for the Maroon and Gold. No match took place at number six singles as the ThunderWolves had no entry.
