WICHITA FALLS, Texas. – Following the ITA Indoor Team Championship, Midwestern State returns home on Thursday for a match against MSU Denver. First serve from the MSU Tennis Center is slated for 4 p.m.
SERIES HISTORY
Midwestern State is a perfect 12-0 against the Roadrunners of MSU Denver. Last season, the Mustangs came away with a 4-1 win in Wichita Falls.

BRADSHAW'S BRINGING IT
Freshman
Brice Bradshaw improved to 5-0 in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Cedric Holzmann of Flagler (Fla.) over the weekend. The Hoover, Alabama native's five wins are tied for the most on the team.
SNAP THE SKID
Midwestern State is mired in a five-match losing streak, the longest such streak since the 2012 season, when the Maroon and Gold also dropped five straight.
POSSIBLE REMATCHES?
Midwestern State and MSU Denver are no strangers to one another, having faced each other in several matches during the fall at the ITA South Central Regional.
Angel Palacios defeated Mateo Besada in the Round of 16, 6-0, 6-0 before upending Alejandro Martinez-Morilla in the quarterfinals 6-0, 6-2.
Alberto Diaz lost to David Kijak in the round of 32, 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.
RANKED MUSTANGS
Angel Palacios is ranked No. 5 in the country in singles while
Alex Martinez Roca is ranked No. 43. Palacios is off to a 5-4 record this spring while Martinez Roca is 3-2.
SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
MSU Denver lost their first match of the spring, a 4-3 result, to Division I Montana State on February 28. The Roadrunners went a perfect 3-0 during the fall, notching wins against Dallas Baptist, UT Permian Basin, and Newman (Kan.). Daniel Llorente is 9-1 on the season and a perfect 3-0 at the top spot while Billy McDermott (8-2), David Kijak (7-2), and Mateo Besada (7-2) all have at least seven wins this season.
CATCHING UP WITH COACH LINN
Scott Linn enters his 10th season at the helm of the Midwestern State men's and women's tennis teams. Since arriving in the fall of 2010, Linn coached teams have made 15 total NCAA Tournament appearances.
