SERIES HISTORY

CREPY'S COOKING
Freshman Alexandre Crepy ran his record to 4-1 in singles with a pair of victories on the No. 3 line on Saturday. Crepy downed Zach Miller (McMurry) in straight sets before battling back from a set down to clip Desmond O'Shea (Hardin-Simmons) in a three set thriller, 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6).

PALACIOS PACKS A PUNCH

5th ranked Angel Palacios is 4-1 on the No. 1 line. The senior collected straight set wins over Carlos Martinez (McMurry) and Nathaniel Schoendorf (Hardin-Simmons) last weekend.

MONEY MUNIZ
Jean Muniz stepped into the starting lineup last Saturday and made the most of the opportunity, collecting two wins at the No. 5 position. The Brazilian won both of his matches in straight sets.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Cowley County is 2-0 this season following a 5-4 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday. Last season, Cowley County posted a 9-6 mark and finished fourth at the National Tournament. Jack Clements, who will likely oppose No. 5 Angel Palacios in the number one singles match, defeated Juan Scoppetta last time out in straight sets 6-3, 7-5.

CATCHING UP WITH COACH LINN
Scott Linn enters his 10th season at the helm of the Midwestern State men's and women's tennis teams. Since arriving in the fall of 2010, Linn coached teams have made 15 total NCAA Tournament appearances.
