WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Mired in their first three-game losing streak since the 1997 season, No. 25 Midwestern State tries to break out of their slump on senior night against St. Edward's. Match time on Thursday is 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
After a 3-0 win over the Hilltoppers earlier this season, Midwestern State owns a commanding 33-6-5 record against their Lone Star Conference rivals. MSU has won five straight games during the series and seven of eight.
 
SCORING DROUGHT
The Mustangs have scored just one goal over their last two games and a total of three goals over their last three games. The scoring drought comes after MSU scored 26 goals during a seven-game winning streak.
 
LOSING STREAK
Midwestern State is mired in the program's first three-game losing streak since the 1997 season. MSU has not dropped four consecutive games since the inaugural season of 1972.
 
IN THE RANKINGS
A three-game losing streak dropped Midwestern State to No. 25 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday morning. The Mustangs have appeared in the last 61 USC rankings as a ranked side dating back to the 2014 season and have received votes in the last 73 rankings dating back to 2013.
 
A MINUTE WITH MEACHUM
Michael Meachum kicked off his second year as Head Coach at Midwestern State with a 2-0 win over Dixie State on September 5 at Stang Park. Meachum posted a 16-1-3 mark in his first season at the helm.
 
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
St. Edward's ran their unbeaten streak to three games with a 1-1 draw against UT Tyler on October 31. During the streak, the Hilltoppers (2-0-1) have outscored their opponents, 11-1. Parker Fyfe has scored a team-high 7 goals this season for a Hilltoppers squad that has clinched a spot in the upcoming Lone Star Conference post-season. SEU currently sits in third place in the LSC, two points clear of MSU.
