WICHITA FALLS, Texas– No. 5 Midwestern State gets a chance at revenge against No. 16 St. Mary's on Saturday night at Stang Park. The Rattlers are the only team to beat MSU this season. Both teams enter the match on seven-game winning streaks. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
Midwestern State rattled off an astonishing 30 straight wins in the all-time series before St. Mary's knocked off the Mustangs, 2-0, on September 21. This marks just the second time the schools will meet with both teams ranked in the top 25. MSU defeated No. 11 St. Mary's, 3-1, last season.
 
OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION
The Maroon and Gold have scored 3+ goals in each of their last seven games. The Mustangs have outscored their opponents 26-4 over the seven game stretch.
 
WWWWWWWINNING WAYS
MSU is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, the sixth straight season the club has recorded a winning streak of at least six games.
 
LARA CALLS GAME
Sergio Lara netted the golden goal on Thursday night to push MSU Texas' winning streak to seven games. The 106th minute tally extended Lara's point streak to five games (three goals, three assists).
 
VENEGAS VICTIMIZING DEFENSES
Sebastian Venegas pushed his point streak to seven games with a goal on Thursday night against Texas A&M International. The redshirt junior has registered five goals and four assists during the streak.

IN THE RANKINGS
Midwestern State entered the top five for the first time this season after moving up one spot to No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday afternoon. The Mustangs have appeared in the last 59 USC rankings as a ranked side dating back to the 2014 season and have received votes in the last 71 rankings dating back to 2013.
 
A MINUTE WITH MEACHUM

Michael Meachum kicked off his second year as Head Coach at Midwestern State with a 2-0 win over Dixie State on September 5 at Stang Park. Meachum posted a 16-1-3 mark in his first season at the helm.
 
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
No. 16 St. Mary's pushed the longest winning streak in program history to seven games with a 4-1 win over Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night. With 10 wins, the Rattlers have already matched their win total from last season. STMU has not won more than 10 games in a season since posting 12 victories in 2002. Reigning Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week Edu Toiny-Pendred has recorded five goals and four assists while Ollie Wright leads the club with seven goals.
