COMMERCE, Texas – Sarah Glawe dished out 15 assists, but it was not enough to prevent Midwestern State from being swept, 3-0, by the No. 25 Texas A&M-Commerce Lions on Saturday afternoon inside the A&M-Commerce Field House.
Glawe has posted double digit assists in 15-straight matches.
Tied 19-19 in the opening set, the Lions used a 6-3 closing run to take a 1-0 lead.
The Mustangs dropped the second set 25-19 despite four kills from
Rachel Howes. The freshman finished with a team-high seven.
Texas A&M-Commerce closed out the sweep with a 25-11 win in the third set. The Lions scored 15 of the first 19 points to run away from MSU.
